long lasting foundation for acne proned skin?
I've been trying to treat my acne breakout for years now and because of how severe it was when i was younger i was left with awful acne scars. Between the scars and the occasional new blemish does anyone have any recommendations for a good coverage foundation??
I've currently been using bare minerals but the coverage is not enough and by the end of the day it's smeared off. I need something that will stay on and not smear off throughout the day since i barely get time to take a break let alone fix my make up. Any suggestions would be helpful!! I've been told to try Max Factor long lasting foundation or the covergirl trublend but haven't gotten around to trying it yet...
i assume you are using a cleanser/toner/moisturizer regimen made for oily skin. make sure to look for products that are oil-free, non-acnegenic, and non-comedogenic. these are the foundation formulas i have tried and liked and lasted on my oily, sensitive skin even through the hot florida summers...
mark powder buff foundation $8
avon perfect wear extralasting $10
revlon colorstay $12
clinique superfit $20
merle norman lasting $26
clarins truly matte $35
they all have pretty extensive color ranges, and can be found all over the US. the first is a powder, and the rest are liquids. you can always "set" a liquid foundation with powder, as well. also, make sure to blot away excess oil with oil-absorbing sheets like clean & clear $5.
