Is Mederma supposed to make your skin itch and burn?
I'm using Mederma for a scar on my neck (my cat is evil) and the scar is looking better but it is otherwise irritating my skin. Anyone else experience this? Maybe the tube is too old...my brother bought it a year ago for his scar and gave it to me (that stuff is expe$ive!)
Itching can indicate healing, but burning could mean that the product is old or contaminated or that you're having a bad reaction to it. There should be an expiration date on the tube. If it's irritating you skin, it shouldn't be used.
