Is laser treatment for veins only for varicose veins, and spider veins, or is it also for people who have prominent, blue veins in there legs? Thanks.

Not sure really. I would figure it would work just the same on all types.

I am pretty sure the laser treatments are meant to shut off blood flow to the particular vein in question so it can "go away." This is what is done when you go in and get the injection that treats veins as well.

Ask your doctor or whoever you are planning on using. They'll be able to give you all the specifics.

Laser vein treatment, how much does it cost?


i am a 21 year old female and considering having laser treatment for veins on my face.
my skin was left very damaged from using steroid cream to treat psoriasis. and have been left with veins all over my cheeks which gets very hot and red.
does anyone know how many treatments people need on average and how much it would cost?
also is there any creams i can use to improve the thickness of my skin and help it heal as it is also very thin, at the moment i just use E45. its been liek this for about a year.
are there any bad side effects?

I don't know how much it costs offhand, sorry, but I wouldn't have it done. I work in medical malpractice and we get complaints about these types of treatments all the time. Be careful.
