Vitamin E Acne Scarring

What's better for acne scars? Vitamin E, Tea Tree Oil, shea butter or something else?

Hi there. I know what you mean...I have acne scars too and it brings down my self esteem.
What I'm using right now is Colonial Dames 28,000 i.u. Vitamin E cream. This is probably one of the best vitamin e creams out there! I bought it on Amazon.com for like 8 bucks.
On top of the vitamin e cream, I use 100% pure tea tree oil. I buy it at Trader Joe's for like 6 bucks.

What exactly does vitamin E do for acne scar?


I was wondering if Vitamin E is good for reducing redness from a pimple scar? Does vitamin e stimulate collagen build in some sort? How effective is vitamin e from your experience on acne scars?
Also, what other remedies do you recommend for fading scars or reducing scar redness? Thanks.

More recent studies show vitamin E does nothing. They now think it's actually the rubbing/massaging of the scar when you apply some kind of ointment that helps with healing.
