Proactiv cleanser?
is the proactive cleanser supposed to foam/bubble up at all? i tried it for the first time today and it didn't make any bubbles on anything. did i not put it on right? i'm used to seeing bubbles on my face when i wash it man. help!
No. There are NO bubbles. The cleansers you are used to using are cheap, over-the-counter products which are of lesser quality. Dampen your face and apply a pea-sized amount, work into your skin with circular motions (make sure to get ALL of your skin), leave on for a minute or so and move on the the toner. Baby boy, you will LOVE Pro=Activ. I promise. You may have to stick with it. I saw results within days. Some of my friends took months. It really works. Good luck sweetie!

Why Is My Nose Is Pealing, Help?
I started washing my face with Neutrogena Daily Cleanser last night, and again this morning. My nose has started pealing. I'm trying to get my face cleared up by Friday because I'm going to see my man. Any help getting this cleared up?
I just noticed the title has an error. I'm fuckin' stupid. Just ignore it.
Your face is drying out.
Do you moisturize? If you are using a drying cleanser (which, since it's Neutrogena, I'm guessing it is), then you HAVE to use a good moisturizer to add back the moisture your cleanser is taking away.
Also, those drying acne cleansers can do more harm than good. They are notorious for making me oily, dry and breaking me out.
Oh and peeling is NOT a sign that your skin is getting better. It's a sign that your skin is dry and possibly irritated. It will not make your acne any better, in fact it could make it worse if the peeling begins to cause irritation.
I suggest only using it once a day to help keep the drying effect to a minimum, and follow up with an appropriate moisturizer. Use your other cleanser when you aren't using this new one. You can also try using spot treatments for those stubborn spots. But really, your man should not care if you have zits on your face, however many. He's with you, so obviously he could care less. You shouldn't feel as though you have to look absolutely perfect just to see him.
