Help with my skin!!!?
I am 25 years old and I don't like the way my skin looks on my face. I have lots of fine lines and big pores with dry skin and under the skin bumps and lumps. What is the best stuff/routine/creams to use to improve my skins appearance? I have some Mary Kay products and just started back using them a couple nights ago....I have the Microderm and the 3in once time wise cleanser and moisturizer. Any suggestions? I have thought about going to a dermatologist but I am currently 25 weeks pregnant ....should I wait until after the baby comes to worry about my face??
If you are pregnant you may be experiencing these things b/c of the hormones from the pregnancy. You have to be really careful what with what types of products that you use when you are pregnant because your skin is an organ and it does absorb product and certain products could effect the baby. For example pregnant women should not use any type of Retinols which many acne and resurfacing products fo have in them. Most likely after the pregnancy your skin will get better but if you are interested in some safe products to use in the mean time I would suggest Visibly Clear Acne line. This line is totally safe for pregnancies and will help with all of the things that you are concerned with because it is an anti-aging acne line and it inhibits what hormones do to the skin. I am an esthetician and I have been working with this line for a long time and it is the only one I would ever use on myself and/or recommend to anyone. Mary Kay 3 in 1 Cleanser Time Wise
Laura Mercier skin range (Face polish, cleanser, moisturizer etc) or Clarisonic?
I have read all the reviews of both these 'brands'. All have been excellent. Also seen the youtube reviews by those with the same skin type and it works.
However both these are very expensive. The Clarisonic is £175 and the Laura Mercier skin care range ranges from £35 to £95 depending on product.
I cannot afford both at the same time right now.
Which is the better investment, not just money wise but for your skin? Better skin care products used the traditional way, or drugstore brands used with the Clarisonic?
PLEASE NOTE: I am not looking for alternative, cheaper products, I just want to know which one I should get of the two I have mentioned only.
